soaking into the body of Jesus Christ...
Anointed before His death...
Did the fragrance linger as He knelt at Gethsemane?
Did the fragrance linger as He was lifted up?
Did the fragrance linger as they
threw lots upon His clothes?
Did the fragrance linger with His blood upon the cross?
When He cried "It is finished!" The sky turned black
and the earth quaked?
Three days later....
Did the fragrance linger in the empty tomb where His body
had laid?
Oh death where is your sting? It is swallowed in Victory!!!
THE ANOINTED ONE HAS RISEN!!! HIS FRAGRANCE

Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus feet. He said she had anointed Him for His burial.
ReplyDeleteWhen He died on the cross, they put Him in the tomb. There was no time to anoint Him because at 6PM Sabbath began. On Sunday morning, the women went to the tomb with the spices and anointment oil to prepare His body. The tomb was EMPTY!!! HE HAS RISEN!!!
